You don\'t know for certain if all the other penalties other players made were on purpose, they were still made and that\'s what it was called.

I stand up for what I said, and I will continue too. T.O. is one of the best out there, so is Jeff Garcia, so is Bryant Young, and Parrish. The whole 49er team is. Again, like T.O. said, if you dont like him taunting and having fun, then stop him.

Offsides is a penatly, what TO did is a flagrant act of unsportsmenlike conduct.

TO should take some notes from real recievers like Marvin.  He gets the job done and his celebration is knowing that his score is helping them win the game, unlike TO who is trash that talks no matter if they are up or down 20.

Word. I don\'t see how punching somebody in the back of the head after a play is the same as throwing water into the stands. Oh shit, I\'m sure that kid suffered severe mental anguish after GETTING WATER thrown on him.

Shockey\'s a gamer. As much as I hate it, he 0wned Nebraska in the Rose Bowl last year, and he\'s out there to play. Owens is out there to showboat. How does somebody get away with starting two fights? Seriously?

As for the call, that was just shit. These officials are paid to make the right call, and as far as I\'m concerned, they got caught up in the moment. They were making assumptions on a critical play, which is ridiculous.

Bedtime. Death to Owens. Uhm...Go Huskers?

See Yuz.
What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

Ok. One point I have to make on this. Yes, Owens does show-off, yep he does over do it(to me he doesn\'t though). But, hes a good player, just as good and better than shockey.

Can\'t judge by position. As far as I"m concerned, Jeremy Shockey is the second best Tight End in Football, and it only took him a year to do it. If you look at stats, Amani Toomer owned Owens yesterday. Owens as far as stats goes is the best, but as far as production, he\'s nothing compared to Marvin Harrison, who, if nobody knew, broke the single-season receptions record this year, in fact, he beat it by about 25 receptions, and yet you hear next to nothing of it. Amazing.

Did you happen to catch the news yesterday?  It turns out the refs made a mistake, they should have called pass interference bacause the interference was on an eligible reciever, not an ineligible.  Just thought I would throw that in... so theoretically, the Giants got screwed...

If Shockey cought just one of those TD Passes for 6 points in the 4th quarter, none of this would even be an issue.

Simple fact is that the Giants lost I\'m sorry it had to be, but they lost even if they were screwed out on the last play of the game it shouldn\'t of even come down to the last play, but hey since it did we got screwed and nobody can deny us that. Next up the Jets will probably get screwed out of there game too.

How much worse can the refs get.  I have seen the 3 worst calls I have ever seen in my entire life.  The sick thing is, i didnt care about any of the teams except the pack.  If i can say i dont care about the teams and still think those were the worst calls ever, the refs are all blind.  I hope every single one of them, expecially from the Miami game are fired.  Lets just hire hobos from the streets, they can ref the games better.

Thats odd, considering people are backing the call now.  I\'m sure you couldn\'t ref better if you think its so clear cut on that call.

Let me take a moment to say why I don\'t agree with Owens being as good as Shockey, at all.  Shockey is at a position where you catch fewer passes.  This is his rookie year, and he\'s already one of the top 2 TEs in the leagues, and the top in his conference.  But also, look at his numbers compared to Owens, a WR.

In Owens rookies year, he played all 16 games, and started 10.  He had 35 receptions for 520 yards.

In Shockey\'s rookie year, he has played in 15 games, and started 13.  He had 74 receptions for 894 yards.

So in other words, comparing their rookie years, Shockey smokes Owens, despite the fact that Owens is a WR.  No one peaks in their rookie year.  As scary as it is, Shockey isn\'t close to peaking yet.  And this despite the fact that he\'ll be starting in the Pro Bowl in this, his rookie season.

Oh, and one thing you\'re misunderstanding about how I view Owens.  He can show off all he wants.  If he wants to sign a ball, great!  Be a cheerleader after a touchdown?  Why not.  And that thing he did in Dallas was one of the funnier things I\'ve ever seen in football.  That stuff is all good.  But when you\'re starting fights, that\'s just dirty.  There is a difference between showing off, and playing dirty.
