The stage manager sucks. I did a local cable news show in high school and it was important to keep things running smoothly while keeping out of sight, that lady was on camera with her hand hitting Mariah\'s leg and then even worse pretty much forces her to drape that huge trenchoat over her legs. That\'s just dumb and tactless. They simply should have thought about all this beforehand.
At least the director could have kept the camera on the reporters when this was happening. It\'s sad they are "professionals" and they let this happen. Know what I mean Vid?
Oh and I didn\'t see a damn thing, it looks like the audience could have seen something though but not much...
Well it all depends. I personally would have done it the same way. It serves several purposes.
A) I hate Mariah Carey and anything I could do to make her look like a complete tramp is alright in my book.
You through poonany on the air, you are bound to make headlines across the country for your station.
C) Yeah, I could get the main camera to give me a two shot of the hosts and stay with the bust shot of Mariah, but what fun is that? Plus the main camera guy more than likely fell asleep during the musical number.
Ah heck, I probably would have been a puss and lost the three shot for a double on the hosts and a single on Mariah. I\'m a softy.
