Vapor Snake that is the ugliest cat I have ever seen!
Anyway, they were NEVER bred to be GUARD DOGS.
They were never bred to be aggressive in any way whatsoever to humans.
You might be thinking of Pincers or German Shepard’s or something.
They were BRED for fighting other dogs and animals.
And this dates back to the old days where if a fighting dog was ever aggressive to it\'s owner/trainer (these dogs were trained extensively) is was to be put down immediately due to it being a huge liability to the trainer. So if there were any that were aggressive in any way towards humans they were weeded out. The effect of this was the successful weeding out of almost any human aggressive PB\'s. Now what has happened to them LATELY, is that a bunch of greedy idiots have decided they can make a lot of money with these dogs, selling and fighting them
and they have become hugely popular. But the morons raising them and breeding them are fu$king clueless. They want to own the baddest dog on the planet to inflate their egos. So they make them mean, neglect them, torture them (just watch Animal Precinct or your local news) to make them mean. They abuse these poor dogs because the dogs listen to people and do what they want them to do to please their masters. So if anyone is to blame like always it\'s us humans.
But, like I said, if you do raise them right you will not find a more affectionate or loyal dog on the planet, and that\'s a fact.
Sorry about the name calling Sam, its just ignorance all around about these dogs that has gotten them into so much trouble, and it is the reason they are so abused. I just hate seeing anyone adding to the misconception of these dogs. You know instead of being like I hate those dogs they are mean. It really should be I hate when dumb a$$ people abuse those dogs and make them mean.
If you ever met a well trained one, your opinion would turn completely around.
BTW on the top 10 list of dogs that bite (every year) they have never even been in the top 10! Check it out.
Those friggin poodles, and cocker spaniels top the list every year.
Those are some facts for you.
One more thing. This is my 3rd Pit Bull, not ONE has ever bitten anyone. But between the last one and this one we got a Sheppard/lab mix, it has bit 3 different times on 2 different people!
Once even the cops were called on it for biting.
Go figure that.
