Some question why VHS became so popular. BETA\'s offered better on-screen-quality, were small and cheaper. Or so I have been told.

There\'s one problem in this message, though. The graphics, back then, were unbelievable. Back in 1984 Asteroids looked incredibly sweet. Why? They hadn\'t seen anything better. Simply said, Asteroids looks tedious and dull now, but it didn\'t back then.

Unreal Tournament 2003 looks sweet by today\'s standards. Doom III will look sweet by tomorrow\'s standards. In the future, even Doom III will look unrealistic and bad. But for us it looks golden. Get my point?

You just can not complain about graphics.

The fact is those games kept me coming back for more. I wish I could say the same about todays games.

Just my opinion.

I think that is because they didn\'t finish, you can always try to beat your record but most games these days have ends which makes you feel like you don\'t need to come back.
