Watched the First 2 eps of TAKEN last night..

And i don\'t know what to make of it .

No not the Plot but whether i like it or not.

lets just say I was AOK with it all the way up to the Creepy Grey Squirrel in the second episode .

But a part from that its quite a good series so far, I am already “connecting” with the main Characters.

For example I feel sorry for the WW2 bomber Captain who has lost is crew and his Family

And I want to kill that Major (the potential Majestic 12 guy) being a @rse . "your the Sun and moon to me"

My only concern with the special effects is that in some of the shots, it looks rather “plastically”   lol it looks like a X box game running in the back ground….. All Plastically and blurry

/me points the Bomber battle at the start of the first episode for example.

Oh and  the kid narrators voice is starting to piss me off

Anyway after all them points I still can decide.

I hope it improves but some points (like the grey Squirrel) smell of Shades of AI the film.

And we all know what AI = now do we ?!?1111

AI = Steaming pile of sugar coated dog S£$%

A.I. is a wonderful film, ooseven. A thought-provoking Pinocchio-twist with a true heart. And don\'t even try to argue. This is my opinion - and while I don\'t agree with you, I respect your view.

I\'d love to see Taken though. The serie sounds very interesting.

if i heard "i just want to be a Real Human boy" one more time, i would hunt down Mr SS myself.

TAKEN - never heard of it.

A.I. - never gave it a chance.

"taken" is a 20 hour mini-series that was produced by stephen speilberg  (he didnt direct any of it)

in some parts it was really frickin good, and in most others, it was pretty bad

they never even really explain certain things

[sp] like why do people flip out and start killing each other and themselves when they get around the tracking device (little centipede looking thing) that was taken out of people\'s heads[/sp]

Blade Runner = on of the Greatest Flims of All Time

A.I. = High budget "made for TV film"

Pfft A.I isn\'t even worthy to lick Blade Runners Boots

Just keep watching Taken. It gets better as you progress. Also more things will become clear as you watch. I thought it was a great show just a little hard to follow later on in the film. Try to keep track of each family tree.

ok , it is shape\'n up to be good.. but i still kind of prefer Band Of Brothers.

which i am still thinking of getting on DVD when i have the money to spare.

Band of Brothers is killer. Would be a good purchase.
