It\'s very similar, but a lot more detail.  It\'s also a heck of a lot harder.  I have yet to have a city survive.  Granted I\'ve only played about 10 times, but it\'s hard.

The detail is Way more than the others.

The main map is great

I\'ve got a city named after my own, it was going pretty well, but now my cash is going down the toilet, the god damn medical clinics suck the money right out of you.

Yeah.  ANd so does the high school.  It\'s tough as shit.

I put train tracks through my industrial land and I put a commuter air strip in right from the beginning.  This is the closest i\'ve been to having a viable community.  I\'ve actually virtually filled the map now and I am still in the black on budget.  I\'m trying to put a freeway through the city though and it\'s costing me a bundle.  Don\'t know if I\'ll get to do it.

Buh.. I dont have the energy anymore to play fair.. Right now Im cheating my way to building a bigger city (my biggest one right now is Güntheburg with ~25000 peps)

But Im going to stop at some point and try to balance up the budget.

My favorite sims i can remember are SimAnt and SimFarm. those were addictive. I wanna get my old simcity cd and play it now since when i first played it i was incompetent on what i was supposed to do and all i did was make fires and earthquakes and plane crashes but i cant find the fricken cd

you have the trainer fastson?  I couldn\'t get mine to work.  Mine either sucks, or I am ignorant.

Im lasting on Loans now, not a good thing, I\'ve gotten myself to break even on income vs. expense, even getting some income, but the problem is there is always a demand for something.

My major problem now is traffic congestion, they want trains, subways, and bus stops, but the problem is there is no where to put them because most of the land is built on already.

BTW, my population is over 50,000.

Nope, I cant use it because the game keeps crashing.
There is a cheat code which you can enter in the game though..

Hold down Ctrl + X (remember, you cant have anything selected) .. A small window will open, enter Weaknesspays .

This cheat will only give you 1000 credits though.. If you want to enter it multiple times without having to type every time just press CTRL + X and then press the UP-arrow and the text will appear in the window.

I HAVE A VIABLE CITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is what I figured out.  DON\'T GIVE THEM WATER!!!

When your city is small you don\'t need water.  It is very expensive on a monthly basis so until you get your city pretty big you don\'t need it.

What percentage of taxes you doing?  I am up in the 10-12 range on residents.  As long as the green is up I keep it high.

Then when I want to build something big I just drop funding for medical and I get about 400 bucks a month extra and no real huge loss in residents.
