to me Anime is NOT Digimon,Pokemon or none of those KIDDIE shows...........it is animes like Akira, X, Ghost in a Shell, Robotech, the Gundam series\'s, and DBZ ( I know DBZ is a kiddie show but the un-cut versions are definately not for kiddies (you can tell what Funimation added in when they brought it out in america by the extra clothing or the extra foliage)

was it made in japan, REALLLY violent, or subtitled (or voice overs)......if the answer is no...then it isn an anime!

us americans get hozed on the violence that they cut out.........the only time they can show good anime is late night.......and most anime fans actaually have day-jobs, thank god most are on during the weekends here (tech TV, Encore, Cartoon network (they moved theirs recently to week day nights at Midnight) at night so i can watch them)).
