Pete Rose going into the Hall of Fame?

Well, Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame that is.  No clue if this is just a publicity stunt or what.  

How many years do you think it will be till Pete is in the REAL Hall of Fame?

With the turn of events over the past couple months with him and baseball, I think we are only about 3 years away.  What you think?

I agree.

I dont think he should be let back into baseball in any way other than the hall of fame though.

And im talking as a player, not a manager.

Pete Rose should be in the hall.  No question.  The other person who should be: Joe Jackson.  Sure Rose bet on the game, and sure Jackson was on the Black Sox, but both were amazing players.  That\'s what should matter.

There are a few good Canadians in other sports.  Like Larry Walker in baseball or Steve Nash in basketball.  Besides, Canada DOES have two major league teams, even if one draws fewer people than some minor league teams.

i agree with all of u. He was a manager when he bet so we shouldnt penalize him as a player, just as a manager(i doubt hell ever actually play). I thought that he bet against the reds, but i guess he bet for them to win, which is still bad since its betting but i thought it was a lot worse.

They have the CFL in Canada, but it would be no competition.  The Bengals would spank the CFL all star team.  If they were better, they\'d be in the NFL making more money.

And Pete Rose at Wrestlemania was great.  He was there twice actually :)

Rose should definetly be let in, he\'s a great player and since when did the hall of fame judge people on anything other than how they played the game?

What he did as a manager should bear no reprecussions on him being judged as a player. Even though im willing to bet he was betting as a player too.

Im all for him being inducted in the hall of fame since he has rightfully earned that spot.

i think that pete shoudl totaly be in the hall of fame not just that one but the america one the county that he hit  4,000 hits in most every no one will every break that record but petes a goood guy
