I think they would make more money if they released them a year or so apart.  The anticipation would be greater if the 2nd one is good, but what do I know :)

Well, perhaps... I\'m not a great fan of The Matrix either, but I enjoyed it quite a bit anyway. However, I read in an interview that they\'re making SFX that "can\'t" be copied, like how the bullet FX in TM was copied in most every action movie afterwards. And with the things I hear going on, it should be visually very pleasing at least. So for that reason alone I\'ll watch the sequels. :)

The Whole Conspet of the Matrix is Flawed.

Plus most of the REAL points to a films, say the piss poor Acting are Glossed over by CGI most Geeks.

i have seen Dog Turds with more life than Mr Revees and Co.


FFS if it wasn’t for this Films Large Budget then it would have been a Straight to Video

Finally some people who didn\'t think it was all that great.

Only thing that ever intrigued me about the movie was the action.  The movie as a whole I thought blew nuggets.  It is virtually impossible for me to watch anything with Keano and enjoy it.  The guy in real life is a walking dolt.  He should have stuck with Bill & Ted.

 may i be the first to suggest that even the role of playing in Bill & Ted would be still too much for him to play.

I remember during an MTV Awards show when Matrix won a bunch of crap they grabbed Keanu and did an interview with him back stage.  I can honestly say that I\'d rather be left in a room to talk intelligently to Anna Nicole Smith and Mariah Carey.  

There is no way for me to put into words how stupid he was.  He couldn\'t create a sentence.

I don\'t think it\'s anywhere near the 100 greatest movies of all time but similar to flicks such as the Mummy series, Jurassic park,  etc.. it\'s a good popcorn movie, nothing more.  You can go and spend your $7 just for the hell of it.  It does have a nice little post-modern story and state of the art effects (for its time) but the plot is corny plain and simple.

Either way I bet everyone reading this thread will go see it. :fro:
