Nike Soccer Commercial

What\'s the deal with that commercial?   Did they take a real happening, throw in one tight shot of the dude\'s feet dancing, and slap a Nike logo on it?

If so, I don\'t remember ever someone running out naked onto a football field during a play.  They\'d probably be killed.

But then again, we\'re talking about soccer here.  Queer football.....

Here is the commercial for those of you living under a rock with a broadband connection.

Alrighty then.  What does that have to do with the commercial?

Now that I look at it, that closeup shot of the shoes may have been real.

I love it when people do stuff like this. It\'s even better that the media is glorifying it! You have got to have some guts to get out there and do this kind of stuff. Only if I were more brave.

I get the concept of the commercial.  You think I\'m an idiot?

I wanted to know where it came from.  Was it a big deal overseas when this guy did this?

A couple of the shots looked fake to me, but damn if that whole thing is faked it\'s damn good.

I thought it was pretty funny. But I have the hinting it may be fake.

After all, it is Soccer. And soccer fans are wierd... :)

Yeah, that commercial rules, but it has to be quite fake. The Players would probably have taken the guy out immediatley if he actually did that.

The commentators are awesome -- "My...that image has scarred my retina for a long time", "Haha, looks like he\'s got more souveniers for the crowd".

See Yuz.
What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

GO CUBS!

No way, the players wouldn\'t come near the guy.  WHy would you bother if you were a player?  There are police for that.

The announcers are definitely faked.

but alas that proves a powerful point if it real cause no dork is gonna run out on the field like that during an American Football game!

The only sport in the states that gets less coverage than WNBA is MLS.

But that isn\'t the point.  I\'m talking about the commercial here.  Not the gay ass sport it\'s about.

well we could talk about which is the greater sport, but i feal that would only end in childish name calling and a last of the real issues.

i vote we beg to differ on this one ;)
