Best SuperHero & best superhero movie?!?

Batman is by far my favorite superhero of all time.  Sure, it really went over the top with all that crap about the bat-nuclear-blast repellant spray and what not, but before then when he was actually a detective, he was like the perfect mix between a perfect hardend vigilante and an ingenius Sherlock Holmes.  Bob Kane is a friggin genius.

On that note, it should be obvious what my favorite superhero movie is: Batman.  Although it was hardly a display of his skills as a superhero, it was still the best way anyone has presented the material in a motion picture format.  I still think I could have done a better job though.  ;)

Sad really. I don\'t look forward to the next three comin\' out of Marvel either.:(

(DareDevil, X-2 and Hulk?!? ICK!)

Meh.. Goblins costume might have been poor, but I still think that William DaFoe put in an absolutely stellar performance as the goblin.  Possibly my favorite portrayal of a super-villain since the Joker.

1) Toss up between Wolverine and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Of course, I am younger, so I wasn\'t into the "darkhorse" version mm was.

2) X-men just for Wolverine. I wanna see him slice someone in half.

Ninja Turtles for the humor, wackiness, martial arts and the pizza.
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

Swamp Thing!  Awww yeah.  I had to mention it.

Seriously, most of the superhero films do suck, and I don\'t consider really any of them to be perfect.  Spiderman comes closest.

I sincerely wish someone would do a Silver Surfer or Fantastic 4 film.  If done right, those would be incredibly incredible.  I will play Galactus.  :)

Best childhood superhero would have to be Aquaman. Heck I learned how to swim because of mimicing him. Some of my best childhood memories are in the pool we had doing the aquaman swim, and  diving to save lost pennies in the deep end.

The best superhero movie is a close tie between Tim Burton Batman, and Richard Donner Superman. I would have to go superman just because of one line exchaged between Lois and Superman at their first meeting. Superman goes I\'ve got you, and Lois\'s response is you\'ve got me. Who\'s got you?!? My how I love that line.

THug: "What are you?!?!?"
Batman: "I\'m., Batman!"

1) Superman cuz he is probably the best superhero all around. Spiderman to me is nothing and if batman didnt have his belt hed be screwed.

2) Havnt seen too many superhero movies. i still havnt seen spiderman. outta the ones iv seen, the batman with the penguin as the main bad guy has been my favorite. i havnt seen the \'first\' batman and superman movies so thats why none of those are my favorite

Batman: Returns was decent, but it was the signal of troubling times for the Batman movies.

If you like the first half of Batman : Returns, go and get the first Batman movie. It is a dark, forbidding movie. Great all around.

Superman, is just a damn classic.
You will believe a man can fly.

SPIDERMAN!

I\'m not really into Batman, he really doesn\'t have any super powers, just a bunch of gadgets and a nice house.

Agreed. More and more of Bob Kane snuck in, and made it a 60\'s Batman only it did not fit without Adam West. Heck I am suprised Batman did not return to his old ways and only fight crime during the daytime like he did in the 60\'s. :D

The only reason I have not bought the Superman Box set is the fact that past 2 it was horrible, and I don\'t want to buy 1 and 2 without the entire set.

I love my Superman box set - but I can\'t bring myself to complete the Batman box set. I am not sure why, maybe it was because of the secert hope of a Batman: SE . :(
