I have noticed you\'ve calmed down quite a bit.  I haven\'t had to delete nearly as many.

Although now I can just adjust your post count rather then spending the time deleting posts.  :)

I agree with him a 100%. Off Topic has a reputation for a certein wackyness that we all know and love, but there is a small group of people that take it too far, and let\'s face it they are overdoing a very used joke (you all know what it is).

There are good threads that either just go out off controll with stuff that wasn\'t the original topic. Those topics if they cannot be saved will end up locked. Or they are basically polluted with one or two remarks which really serve no purpose at all, those posts will be deleted.

By all means continue wackiness we all love it and it makes OT what it is, some of you just need to cool it down. There seems to be a total absence of worth while threads around here.

Look people, some of you might be confusing short posts with spam.

There\'s nothing wrong with posting something like your feelings of something in a topic in one line or something, that\'s contributing to the topic at hand. It\'s just when either good topics are ruined by useless posts or entire threads that span 2+ pages with nothing in it but "I rape this" "no, I jizz there" etc comments in them.

And by all means, continue some of the useless posts, as I said in my earlier post, it is the sillyness that makes OT so special and a lot of the fun is bound to spam posts. We\'re just asking those who do the most of it (you know who you are) to just tone it down a little. You don\'t have to reply to every thread with useless comments.....only when those comments are funny ;)

Spamming

Contributing off-topic material into a thread / threads.

Spammer

A member whom constantly replies with one-word-posts, does not read the true content of the thread but spams it with off-topic material instead, giving no respect to the thread-originator and the real message within. All-around annoying person. Usually very young pre-teen or just loose-headed teenager.

Snap out of your fantasies, boys. Be active, but be active in a good way. Never complain about the lenght of a thread / reply. Blame your own attention-span if you fail to read through the long texts. Instead of whining, respect the author - whom probably sacrificed a long while writing it down - and shut up.

If a serious, well-written thread ends up being a conversation about the lenght of Vapor\'s penis, I am disappointed. If I sacrifice both time and thought into making a thread about a serious / unserious subject, I expect the members to respect the words I have poured out and \'thus reply with quality.

A short-winded, on-topic reply should not be labelled as spam, though.

There are cetain members here, who are pushing the spam barrier too far.

I\'ve never been one to complain about spam, or punish for it, but lately shits gone too far. I look forward to coming home from work and reading Off Topic, but lately its been completely retarded in here.

Every frickin thread gets ruined by the same god damn 4 or 5 people, im not gonna call anybody out but you know who you are, and everybody else knows who you are.

The rest of the staff and I have been discussing this for awhile now, and its gotta stop.

I ****in\' PRIDE myself on being a Off Topic mod, and I wont let this forum go to complete crap. Its at an all time low right now, and it wont go any lower.

You will be noticing some members being gone, and some of you will notice more of your posts being deleted.

This is a crack down.

There\'s nothing to be sad about. At last the mods are finally doing something about the situation here. As long as they can back up their promise, I don\'t think anyone will be sad.

Anyways, I am also overjoyed with this. I\'m sure I\'m not the only one who was seriously considering posting something like this. Finally an actual mod did(although Ryu tried soemthing like this not to long ago...to no avail).

I have doubts that they will come through will this promise, but I\'m confident they can keep the worhtless posts down to a decent level. I\'m tired of seeing eveyr ****ing thread turning into "I\'m gonna rape you"(afraid to call out someone huh?...Chizzy that\'s you!), "I\'m gay your gay yeah let\'s all be gay", or Vapor being an extreme moron thus influencing more morons to posts, etc. The quality of threads have radically gone down after the first 5 or so posts then it gets ruined by the same 5 members like Luke pointed out. Hopefully this will stop or be reduced significantly.

Speaking of Luke, I found it very ironic that you happened to post this. A good amount of your posts border line on being spam, and fair amount are. You may not be "pushing the spam barrier too far", but as a mod, you are almost pushing it.

And the spaminators and southern alliance influence all the crap spamming that\'s going on today. Neither ruled.

Well... Finally. Well, I enjoyed most of Vapor\'s posts, even though they were spam. It was probably because I wasn\'t here as much as the rest of you, having to read it constantly... Man, you guys are............. geeks. :) j/k.

Good call LUKE!

I have noticed the number of threads and posts over they last few weeks has increased dramatically. Many of them seem  to be a waste of space.

What we need is good topics, funny topics and anything relevant that can incite a good honest discussion.
