All of a sudden this place has lost a lot of its fun due to the fact that threads are being closed and a few are complaining about spam.  Personally, I find it humorous when people post funny replies in "serious" topics.  That is what gives this forum its flavor.  If censorship is going to start here don\'t think that membership will increase.

Granted, sometimes a member gets out of line, but the rash of closed threads is becoming an epidemic.  Since all this began I am sure quite a few people are now hesitant to post anything humorous since it might be closed.  This is only a forum, lets have fun and if you can\'t take it and don\'t know how to laugh... too bad.

Sure there are serious topics, but with the way things are going I wouldn\'t be suprised if someone suggests we start using Roberts Rules of Order.

I agree wholeheartedly luckee.  It just seems lately that there have been some undeserved topic closings.  Can\'t admins just delete a single post without deleting the whole thread?

It certainly is better than shutting down a whole thread.  The only drawback is if someones post gets deleted they *might* get upset with the mod, but in general I think the mods are pretty fair here.

My name not mentioned....not even once, how insulting.  None the less, I\'ll limit my rape posts (which I already have limited to like 2 a week max, other people talk about my rapings more than I do).  The posts that are more prevelant now are the hot ghey sex threads.

I feel much better.  I would also like to mention Shox and Vapor as my fellow post sluts (we\'re not post whores because we do it for free)

personally I like the occasional spam, but lately threads are killed before they can even get off the ground.

I read all of this, and I wonder how any of you can consider this "bad". Then again, I saw worse at the cc\'s, and yeah...had some bad times over there.

Anyway, yeah, I really don\'t post much outside of sports topics anyway, but whatever needs to be done, I shall contribute, or something like that.

See Yuz.
What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

GO CUBS!

I don\'t care about spammers that much, even though I do spam sometimes....SOMETIMES...I mean sometimes a thread might not be getting any replies, somebody posts something out of topic, everybody replies and starts bashing and going gay on each other. So WE are all spammers. Yep.

Ohh and I like everysingle one of you, even the ones that hate me like Titan and Giga, you people are all cool in my book of coolness.
Don\'t try to confuse me with what you call  facts, my mind is already made up.

Some(being generous) of my posts lately have been useless, spam, whatever you want to call them. But I\'m trying to get to 500, atleast I have an excuse.

Sad that it had to come to this.

There\'s nothing to be sad about. At last the mods are finally doing something about the situation here. As long as they can back up their promise, I don\'t think anyone will be sad.

Anyways, I am also overjoyed with this. I\'m sure I\'m not the only one who was seriously considering posting something like this. Finally an actual mod did(although Ryu tried soemthing like this not to long ago...to no avail).

I have doubts that they will come through will this promise, but I\'m confident they can keep the worhtless posts down to a decent level. I\'m tired of seeing eveyr ****ing thread turning into "I\'m gonna rape you"(afraid to call out someone huh?...Chizzy that\'s you(or theomen? wtf I can\'t keep up with all these new members), "I\'m gay your gay yeah let\'s all be gay", or Vapor being an extreme moron thus influencing more morons to posts, etc. The quality of threads have radically gone down after the first 5 or so posts then it gets ruined by the same 5 members like Luke pointed out. Hopefully this will stop or be reduced significantly.

Speaking of Luke, I found it very ironic that you happened to post this. A good amount of your posts border line on being spam, and fair amount are. You may not be "pushing the spam barrier too far", but as a mod, you are almost pushing it.

And the spaminators and southern alliance influence all the crap spamming that\'s going on today. Neither ruled.

This is a crack down.

The next post...

":scared:"

Yeah ok, you\'re cracking down allright.

Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

I was going to start a thread about the Beatles, but I got tired and started bouncing a ball instead. My bad "dawgs".
