As weird as this sounds; I dont want Vapor to leave.  Although he spams, so does much of the members of this board.  If any of the members of this board can say they have been here for a year or more and havent spammed, then they are liars.  

Vapor brought a lot to these boards than just spam.  I know he made a lot of the users laugh from time to time.  All i\'m saying is that there wont be another user like Vapor, it sucks he is leaving.

These may be private boards.  That\'s all well and good.  However, I agree with Vapor almost 100% on this.  I\'m not going to name any names, but I think some of you are complete morons, because in reality, there was a very select few of you that drove him away.  He was one of the highest posters, and personally, I found him interesting.  And yet some of you refuse to admit that he was a good thing here.  Personally, I think this place has been more boring just in the week he was gone.  

Personally, I also disagree with how this place is run in a few ways.  I\'m not going to argue it...it\'s not my place to.  I stay if I enjoy myself, I leave if I don\'t.  But quite honestly, I have never been more unsure of which of these options is the most appealing than I am at this moment.

I don\'t get why anyone is defending him. He was warned frequently about breaking the rules, and then when a mod or admin acts on it, you attack them. What the ****?

Why am I defending him?  Because I completely understand where he\'s coming from.  The reality is, he did do some things wrong.  He was warned for them.  All that is fine.  That\'s not what I\'m referring to.

I generally make a habit of not getting to hate anyone I meet online.  Not worth it.  However, this forum happens to contain the only person online that I can\'t stand at this particular moment.  I won\'t name names, as I said before, but I understand where Vapor is coming from on this.

Why should someone have to prove themselves to be accepted?

Look, here is how I am going to do it. As most of you know, I was not an off-topic m0d until very recently. So, let me explain my status on this .

I will not close threads unless I have to. Instead, when there is one idiot in a thread spamming or taking the thread completely off-topic, I will just delete his posts.

I don\'t really mind some spamming, but it has gotten out of control. It is out of control when serious threads are being ruined because some dolt starts talkin about "raping", "ejaculating" and non-sense that has nothing to do with the thread and does it every thread. There is NO POINT in it. I don\'t mind humor and I don\'t mind slight spam. But on the same note,  I would prefer some actual conversation.

As for Vapor, if you want to stay, fine stay. If not, don\'t. You complain about the "same boring conversations" and the "new approach". This isn\'t a "new approach", this is the way it was before you came here. The conversations are not all boring. What you need to learn is what conversations or threads suit you and which don\'t. Just because one is "boring" to you, doesn\'t mean it is to someone else. And it gives you NO right to ruin the thread like you are so known to do.

I don\'t personally have anything against any of you. I think some of you post in odd manners - but hey, go for it. Just keep it in the right thread and don\'t ruin other threads.

With that said, I hope you guys will understand what we are doin\' and try to help us out, instead of throwin\' any tantrums.

It\'s a good forum , that was once great. Let\'s try and get it back there.

I\'d hate to see Vapor go because he came here a lot.  But I think things do get out of hand here sometimes.  It\'s kind of funny.  Vapor was saying how he comes back and doesn\'t see anything worthy of replying to.  

I agree there aren\'t a ton of topics, BUT it\'s so freaking nice to go into a topic and not have to read the bottom half of the post to see if its gone in a different direction or if people are just raping each other.

Yes other boards are worse.  But I don\'t give a shit about other boards.  I\'ve been on several and I thought they were all childish and pieces of crap.

Changing your avatar and stuff I think is childish, but that\'s just me.  TO each his own.



I also don\'t want the board to lose it\'s sense of humor.  I don\'t come here every day to read about politics and crap.  I like a mix of both.  They both have their place.  But it needs to stay seperated.  That\'s all I think any of us want.  If a thread is bullshit like pretty much all of Bobbos, then reply with bullshit.  If threads are refined and dignified like pretty much all of mine then why rape?

And come on, Vid.  You know my threads were a mocking parody of the direction these boards took many months ago.  

I know.  That\'s why I wrote that all my threads rock..  I figured you\'d realize I was just poking fun at ya.

I used to regulate PSX2central about a year and a half ago, and yes, this place is different. I, myself, have tried to tolerate the changes - but I do agree that the attitude of some members went a bit too far. It wasn\'t very pleasant to see every thread turn into piss\'n\'poo -fest.

Vapor, I never really hated you. You have an eccentric, foul-mouthed personality. The angst of teenage raged within you. But, on the other hand, you were very honest to yourself and to the community. Heck, you posted whatever the hell you wanted. In some way I even respected you. Your behaviorism felt like a publicity stunt of some kind. But you have to understand that the community does not work on an individual level. A good board-spirit can only be born if the members contribute their thoughts, opinions and humour in such a manner that every individual is taken into consideration. The off-topic board was never your personal play-ground.

If you now decide to leave the internet-community which housed you for many months, you make a serious mistake. Take the criticism and build a new online-personality which suits the needs of the community better. Learn from your mistakes. I know that you have the potential. The frustration will fade away and you will regret your decision - sooner or later. For if you leave the doors banging, you know you aren\'t welcome anymore.

I am not against the way the moderators and admins work, nor am I supportive - as I am in no position myself, I give my trust to those whom are above me and \'thus keep a neutral mind.

I moderate a certain message-board myself, under the name of Artificial Stupidity. ( Pal Gaming Network - not online at the moment, the server is updating ) Let me just say that Vapor Snake wouldn\'t have survived a week there.

The mods and admins of PSX2central are easy-going, in my humble opinion, and very active - which is always good.
