I personally dont really care for the spam. Just try to limit it. If everyonce and a while a thread gets off topic, no big deal. But if it happens to every thread, something is wrong. I can\'t post on the forum alot, as some of you might have noticed because of school. And when I come home, i just open this page and look at some of the decent threads. I can just tell by the last few posters, and title if its going to be spam, raping, and homosexual talk.

The forum just has its rough times. I can remember an older forum I was in (WhoWouldYouKill.com) had its rough times too. I eventually left because it got too bad. Hopefully it wont come to that hear. I feel respected somewhat here. But I also know others hate me.

I just have one thing to say, that may help; dont create a thread about every little thing (example; An inimportant news cut and paste, stuff like that). It will almost eventually turn in to a flame and rape war. Which wont help the anti-spam.

I believe that we have a great community here. Some wonderful members, and now that VS is gone. I can actually enjoy posting, without seeing him "ejaculate on my face" again. Personally I am ****ing glad he is gone. I\'m glad he realised he isnt wanted. And hopefully he wont come back.

To the mods; I\'m glad you are cracking down on this spam. I myself was a spam whore a while ago. Sometimes still am. I am going to try to not do this. I\'ve seen how serious you guys are, and believe that you will take action. Thank you.

Well, and mm knows this, that the cc forums had this problem for quite some time, and to a certain extent, it\'s gotten worse once Richie re-opened the forums. Quite frankly, I think the \'problems\' that you guys have here are NOTHING in comparison to the problems that we had over there -- and I must add that I was part of the problem at times.

Revolts, cussing outs, hackings, you name it, that place has had it. I must ask, mm, how many times have you actually posted over there since you originally left due to the problems with Viper, Supersmart, and whatnot? I\'m sure it hasn\'t been many, that\'s for damn sure.

Anyway, you guys over here seem to be crying for the wrong reasons. Sure, this place might be in a downard spiral, but you guys have a huge diversity of members. I tend to scoff at you guys when you complain about the way things go on around here. The fact is, this place is run better than most of the forums on the internet, and you should be appreciative of that.

Vapor...please. What exactly is the point of leaving, as what I\'ve heard? I didn\'t even get to read that thread because it got closed, but from what I\'ve heard, you\'ve made your ultimatum or whatever about leaving...I did it 3 or 4 times over at the cc\'s.

I think a nice little reality check is in order...I just don\'t know where it\'d come from.

2...

Anyways, I hated Viper and supersmart while I was there. They ****ing closed EVERY topic in off-topic and I believe they were the ones who hacked the forums a couple of times. They were the biggest losers ever trying to act all thuggish on the internet. Totally ruined the experience for me. Although it was good there when mm was posting.

Most interesting indeed...

So you, too, know what kind of crap went on over there about 2 or 3 years ago. It wasn\'t good for the mostpart, and again, the problems discussed here pale in comparison to what went on over there.

Of course, the Hacking wasn\'t them. None of them had near the ability to hack it, though they  may have had connections, but I really don\'t even know. Again, odd times...the end was near, however, when Bjorn appointed that Davader kid with the Administration powers...that was awful.

Anyway, what was your name over there, Jumpman?

I\'d miss you why?

fact is, i\'d probably miss no one here at psx2c if they left...
mainly cause they\'d end up at GT.. hehe :)
But it\'s not so much the spam that\'s the problem.. It\'s threads that only open to spam replys. Threads that are so single sided that it\'s hard to reply too.

Oni Link...

*sigh*

I was the WORST poster ever there. You think Vapor was bad? I was infinitely worse than he was while I was posting at N64cc. My spelling and grammar was at a 4th grade level, my posts were short, offensive, meaningless, etc. I pretty much defined "worst poster ever". I was banned by mm after a week or two then came here. The old members would recall that I was a moronic Nintendo fanboy just like at N64cc, then gradually became a better poster and smarter person over time.

I came back to n64cc again but at that point it was unbearable with Viper and supersmart. So yeah, to sum up: Me at cc=retard. I know I just lost of all mm\'s and Jamas\' respect just by telling them that little piece of information.

Ohhhh man, I remember you, what\'s up, man?

I don\'t hold grudges forever, though I do remember having an argument or...seven with you :p But hey, it\'s in the past, man.

Man..I miss those days before everything became corrupt...good times.

Lol, sup. :D

Yeah I remember being in with a few arguments with you and other people. I also remember being obliterated in every one of them.

Yeah CC had some great times. Even though everyone hated me and made fun of my bad spelling I still managed to have a lot of fun there. Great forum for awhile. I imagine it was like that well before I started posted there. Sounds like the 97-99 years there were awesome. Very good times there.

You mean the original Jumpman with Goku avatarr?

That\'s me! :D I thought it was pretty obvious, hence the same name and all...

As for VS, I\'m in somewhat agreement with Shox. VS\'s punishment had somewhat of a foul stench to it. It seemed more or less petty and childish, intended to piss him off and embaress him instead of punishing him and hopefully curve his spamming (which I never really minded)

Vapor Snake\'s punishment was a long time coming.  The week long ban was just the tip of the iceberg and was the fairest warning in my opinion.  Then, the day we let him back in, he chose to ignore new policy and to continue posting his own personal crap that no one cared to read thinking he\'d just get banned again for another week and then start back up just like normal.  In fact, Luke actually said to give him a day before I said that his crap would not be tolerated any longer and stripped him of all he had earned on these boards.

Post counts mean nothing.
Avatarrs mean nothing.
User titles mean nothing.

Heck, I\'ll go ahead and take away all that I have to prove that, but to people who spam consistantly, it\'s a show that they obviously could care less about what they are posting as opposed to how frequently they are posting and him leaving showed just that.  Then, without fail, he posted a new thread stating he was leaving and good riddance after two very fair warnings that we gave him.  The simple fact is, all he had to do was abide by the rules and all would be fine and yet, he chose not to.  How do you think we\'re going to act when that happens?

Regardless, he\'s gone and good riddance.

I just want to stress one thing:  Quality over Quantity.  The post counts were hidden for good reason, I\'m still wondering if people realize why that was.
Don\'t you ever touch my cape.

I would have to STRONGLY dissagree. These things create a personality for you online. Sure, they are pretty superficial, but it creates your identity online. Take that away and all you have is a name

Jumpman - I thought it was you, just wasn\'t sure. You joined originally the same time I did.

I agree with what Racer said.  Those things are there to help members express themselves.  They are entertaining, they give a poster an identity.

Just to make things a bit clearer on what I was saying...I was not against Vapor\'s one week ban.  I was against resetting his posts, giving him a demeaning user title, and stripping him of his avatar.  That seemed childish to me.

Thats exactly what I am saying. That is REALLY bad modding IMO.

Could have been dealt with alot more maturity.
