Admins can do whatever they want, that\'s what they are called admins. They make the rules correct? They could just be like "hey let\'s ban anyone who doesn\'t end their post with I am gay" and that would be a rule. It\'s an internet forum, not a (flawed) democracy. I thought dictatorship was expected.

It\'s like creative sentecing from a judge. Instead of sending them to jail they make them someone\'s butler(I got that from seinfeld so yes it\'s stupid).

Well, perhaps that\'s my point right there. There are other members that I feel are worse than Vapor was. They haven\'t been dealt with the same way. That\'s what makes it seem like he was singled out and targetted, like you\'re making an example of him or something.

And as a member of a message board, where the point is to discuss the things that affect us, I am talking about that decision, and saying why I disagree with it. Make no mistake, I\'m not trying to question the people in power, just debating a decision. I don\'t expect it to change...they never do.

I don\'t really agree with the posts and avatar thing either. As much as some hated how he acted, he was a very dedicated member who got out of hand. He was banned for being an ass in the tigress thread. He actually didn\'t get banned for that, he got banned because he didn\'t need to talk like that to ooseven.

Him coming back and being a big penis is indicative of a young kid who was punished. He lashed back. That\'s psychology. Big deal. To each his own. I don\'t think he should have been stripped of everything.

It would be very very very nice if we could just get him to cut back and post like a normal human being. But I guess he can\'t do it.

I hate it when people leave who have been a big part of the board. It\'s impossible to like everyone.

This whole spam crackdown I\'ve noticed happens about every 6 months.

We lose Vapor, but hell, we have Spencer now so we\'re even.

He wasn\'t singled out at all. He made the decisions that got himself banned and then BEGGED to be disciplined.

There were people worse on the boards than him but you seem to single him out. Its stupid to add rules that are unjust and unfair and not inform the users until one of their own got screwed. The admins power is going straight to their heads. Some admins, in my opinion, shouldn\'t even be admins if they do shit like this.

Ok, my thoughts on the subject...

Well, first off, I don\'t think Vapor should have been treated the way he was. I think people here are just using this "stop spam" excuse to kick out, and bash on the people they don\'t like. Wait for the perfect opportunity and then point the finger and try to make them look bad. This "War against spamming" is bullshit. I get why you people want to stop it, but then again it\'s just dumb. I think this War is just another form of spamming. It\'s just disguised as a "serious topic". Spamming has always been here, it hasn\'t gotten worst, it\'s always been the same(Well since I\'ve signed up).

You mod\'s and people that are so interested on the future of this forum, why are you barely beginning to fight spam? Why are you letting people like Vapor go through hundreds of posts of "spamming" and just now decide to stop it?

Like I said, it\'s just another way of getting out of boredom. It\'s bound to die out sooner or later. Then all the spam will start again.

Who decided that we should fight spam? Ok yes, this is a "private" forum, but shouln\'t the members, the ones who actually post here be able to have a word on this. What if 90% of us like the spamming, like getting raped....not literally...?

You can\'t make this forum a "better place" by kicking out and bashing all the people you consider "spammers". They might be spammers to you, but to others they might be something different.

OK, so let\'s see. If I started a thread taht you people considered "spam", and a bunch of you posted to it, wouln\'t they be considered "spammers" to?

I don\'t think that should apply at all. Take Giga and moi for example. To him im probably a spammer, because he says that all my posts are bullshit. But thats just him though. Quality is something that everybody has a different view on. If people like being stupid, then let them go ahead, WHAT is so bad about spamming anyways? Does it cost money for every post? How does it make the forum look bad? If other people came in here just to have a look, who gives a **** about what they think. If we\'re going to change something about this forum, let it be something we can all agree upon, not something that is trying to make this forum look like something it aint, and probably would never be.

Besides, this is the off-topic section, not the "Be serious" section.
I think this "spamming" is going to stop or cool down, but will never disappear. Right now there is NOTHING new going on the world of Video games, so what the hell.

Did it ever occur to you that maybe I wasn\'t talking about his bannings at all? I said I supported that. I\'ve seen those PM\'s before too. The post count thing...fine, if you think that was what was needed, then I guess we all have to live with it. That\'s why you\'re in power, right?

I am more referring to the way he has been treated in general lately. Yes, the post count thing was uncalled for. Sure, he said some things. So what? Did you let him post a while first? No. You never gave him a chance.

I thought spamming was required here to get your avatar? I have been a member here for a bit, and I still don\'t have my 500 post count. At this rate I will have it in about another 2 years. As a side note the only way I could get an avatar (which I would like to have) is post a bunch of spam. If I did that then I am not sure if I could just shut off the spam then. It would be a bad habit hard to break.
