The guy is (unfortunately) probably the most popular male music dude since Kurt Cobain. I was curious to what everyone thought about him and his music.

First of all, I hate rap, so my opinion on his music wouldn\'t be the greatest. I do think it is very good for what it is. The amount of hate in his albums is undiscribable. I think his albums are slowly improving in quality and originality.

I have nothing against him as a person. He\'s doing what he pleases and seems to be very intelligent in his interviews.

And here\'s a picture of him in his early days as the biggest thug ever.

Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.

I think he is very talented. Although I don\'t listen to much rap, he is redefining the genre. How many other rappers can stay on one subject? Eminem is the only rapper I feel that puts his thoughts and feelings into his songs. His songs aren\'t just some brag-fest like ALL the others.

Of course, if this was the late-80s, early-90s, I would have something different to say.

IMO he is the greatest lyricist in rap, ever.  An absolutly amazing writer, and extremely skilled rapper.

Unfortunetly this thread will be killed off by people who say rap sucks.

he a good stage presents but the white man is white not black so try out altr rock that what the whites are doing not rap

Don\'t be such a racist ****wit. Just because he is white doesn\'t mean he can\'t rap, same with black people doing altn rock.

i was about to say that but then i thought hed say i didnt like him,lol. JK. but i dont think color should define u to listen to a certain kind of music. he obviously likes rap so theres no reason he shouldnt do it. i dont really listen to rap but some of his lyrics(that iv seen) are awesome. i also like the pink shirt hes wearing :). Alf kicks @ss.

Eminem is cool. I haven\'t heard a song yet by him that has the words "platinum","ferrari", and "ballin". Rap this days is just plain stupid. I mean even IM starting to listen to J\'lo, shakira, and all those pop people. The only rap im sticking with is Eminem, SPM, BTNH, and all the rappers that have gotten over the fact they got money.

His lyrical writing abilites are outstanding.  As far as how he conducts himself;  I hate the man.  

I also care not for rap, but he does write catchy lyrics nonetheless.

On a whole, I think Eminem is sub-par but as a rapper he\'s great.
