I didnt see the first one at a theatre last year, but a friend burned it on a cd for me so I gave it a shot. As most can agree, the idea behind the movie wasnt all that bad as compared to some of the acting and mis-info in the flick. Not sure if I will see this one either. At any rate here are the trailers for those interested.

And yes, I will go see this.

Thanks for the quick sneak peak of just one movie that I will have to miss this year. I hate the fact that the sport tuner reputation is so freaking pathetic. It’s too fake and too stupid. Very few “kids” actually have a real tuner for that matter. I see them all the time and they make me wanna barf when they pull up to my Z28 and rev their little 1.6-liter engines. They make soda pop bottles with more literage than that!

Don’t get me wrong, I think that the real tuners are pretty cool but with the reputation they bring and the fanboy club that follows I just have chosen not to be a part of it.

you and me both. I dont mind the show guys as thats what they like. I just hate the guys that lie about what they can run. The ones with TACKY as all hell, I mean there is personal taste and then just plain TACKY. The ones that think they can beat all. Those that make excuses when they cant..etc..etc.

Hehe, I love doing that. I want to see what the sports cars can do since I am unfortunate enough not to have one.

speaking as a guy who puts out more than a hunder ponies per litter, in a 4 banger, I must say that the ricers (or wannabe tuners) are obnoxious assholes. They make it so that if a cop here\'s my blow off valve, I get pulled over. Or if someone hears my turbo spool up, they think I wanna race. Quite frankly I hate street racing and "try" to refrain from it...but when a Civic with the words Vtech plastered all over it, and K&N stickers in the windows revs at me, sometimes I have to give \'em a little taste.

As for the movie, I\'ll watch it. I can look past the acting and mis-info, and enjoy it as an action movie with purdy cars. I actually have the first one on dvd, and if any guys at the track heard about that, I\'d be banned for life.

It\'s not really a sequel is it?
To me it looks more like a new different story. Unless they come up with a different plot line.
