When I get to a helicopter I can get in it ok, but thats it. When i try doing anything the screen freezes up. Can anyone help me out here?

Did you save with cheats on?

If so, ur fuxed.

If you can\'t exit the chopper with triangle, or fly it by keeping x pressed then check your disc to make sure it isn\'t scratched. Vice city reads constantly off the disc so if it is badly scratched that would cause a freeze.

I didnt use a memory card. I used the cheat to make my car fly to get on the island. Everything works just fine until I try to take off.

well some cheats dont always work as well as they should and saving the game with them on will not help u either

you fuggered up, it says specifically on my cheat list "if you do the dod "flying car" code DO NOT try to fly a helicopter.

Oh and by the way, where is the helicopter at?

Its on the heyman condo thing (you can buy it) and on top of the Vice City news center and one of the police stations (by the biker contact point). Have fun
