Ohio gets a decent amount of earthquakes.  Almost all are too deep and weak to even feel though.  I\'ve never actually felt one and don\'t plan on it either.

Yeah we get em a lot up here. It\'s cause we\'re on that ring of fire thing.

The biggest earthquake I have ever been in was a 6.7, when I used to live in Northridge, California. I think that was the one in L.A. too, its right near there. It was crazy, stuff was falling everywhere and it split a bunch of houses. It was scary, but at the same time kinda cool. My neighborhood was ok, but places closer to the epicenter were thrashed.

Quakes are pretty common around here, small ones atleast. Big ones well... they happen but not too often.

Last really big one was 3 or 4 years ago, brought some houses down and whatnot...happened on June the 17th, which is like the Icelantic version of the 4th of July.

4 Years ago a Earthquake hit someone in Pittsburg or something, and i felt that and 2 after shocks.  It was creppy.  You could hear it rumbling from like miles away.  But it barely shook the ground at all.

YUO GUYS TEH SUK!!!!!111

I live on Guam and we have had many many many earthquakes. All your 4.+ earthquakes suck! Those are nothing. ;) The biggest I\'ve been in was an 8.2 which lasted for a good 60 seconds in 1993. Since then we\'ve had at least ten 6 and 7 pointers and numerous others below that.  Good thing buildings here are designed with concrete, for protection against all these storms and earthquakes. :)

Yeah, according to SER I suck, but I don\'t care :p

A couple years ago, there was an earthquake here in the 4 range (we have smaller ones all the time). I heard what I thought was thunder, so I got up to look out of my window. I had a bunk bed that I was standing on to look out the window. I put my hands on boths sides of the window sill to support myselft cuz I wasn\'t awake at all. After a while I notice that the whole house was shaking. Freaky!

4 pointers are nothing man. Once you get to the 7s, you\'ll be rockin! I\'m not sure but I remember something about every point it\'s 25 times stronger or something..

5 is ten times stronger than 4
6 is ten times stronger than 5
7 is ten times stronger than 6

and so on and so forth.

Yeah, yeah ;)

We don\'t get many above 4, or at all. We are a very active site for earthquakes, just most of them are 1s and 2s.
