~HERE BE RUMORS ABOUT GFXCARDS~ ;)

As everyone is waiting on nVidea to ship their much hyped Geforce FX, ATi isn\'t sleeping. Here are some rumors about ATi\'s \'counter move\' so to speak:

ATi Radeon 9800 or 9900 (R350):
GPU: 400-425 MHz
RAM: 400 MHz 256-bit DDR
128 megs of RAM, support for 256 mb
Faster (about 10%) than Geforce FX in 8 out of 10 benchmarks
Boasts almost 26 gigs of bandwith per second (~6 GB/s more than GF FX)
Price around €400
Will be introduced in the first week of March

I hope it\'s true because it\'ll help drive GF FX prices down... better for the consumer. Plus more alternatives never hurt. :)

Personally I\'m more interested in the R400 core. But we\'ll see how all of this will work out. Should be interesting at least.
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAPETIME!
(thanks Chizzy!)

It\'s good and bad that these companys are making gfx cards so quickly.
1. it\'s gonna drive down prices.
2. pc game developers make games for these type gfx cards and what % of people own them.. (nobody likes running games at the lowest specs)
3. most people don\'t want to upgrade once every 6 months for a gfx card.
