What if?

First off I realize this is a pipe dream.
What if we dissarm all countries and allow them to decide the
outcome of wars useing video games. I don\'t mean that they settle all problems this way i.e. famine, economics, poverty etc.
Just when some country gets a bee up it\'s butt and wants to start a war, they pick their best gamers and go at it. I know this is fantasy thought but, any opionions? :D

Not only would that never happen, but it\'s not even a good idea.  It levels the playing field too much.  As it is now, if a country is doing something that\'s clearly wrong, like Germany in WW2 for example, more nations will end up against them than supporting them.

Besides, in a situation like that, if Germany wins the video game, do you honestly think the French and English and so on would give up without a fight?  There would still be a war, just the same.

The problem I have with fighting other countries with a joystick is I accidently hit my R2 all the time.  What if that button launched nukes or something.  That would kind of suck if I really meant to hit the X button which is obviously for peace accords.
