Wow... thats something you dont read everyday.

Just imagine what some of the people thought, if they were to read this. This Smoke2k character is supposivly, going to be scarred for life. Knowing, it was almost him that killed him.

Very sad indeed.

yeah your right omen.. he could be a a strong contender for the this years Darwin awards.

and yeah Spudz the award go\'s to the person or persons who died under "Not Wise" situations.

i think last years winner went to the guy who strapped a rocket booster to his car to see if it would wok.

or was that the year before.

Kids today seem to have the wrong impression of what hardcore is. I would have to say that being hardcore is more like Willie Nelson riding his lawn tractor to the liquor store on a rainy day to get a bottle. Hardcore is more like Jamie T. jumping the leap of faith at a skate contest. I would say that these are just a couple of ways to be hardcore but to say that overdosing on drugs and not coming back to tell of the tale is just plain stupid. Sorry men (and woman) but IMHO, drugs are just plain stupid. Mind you, I have friends that believe otherwise but I stand firm in this.

Spudz, the Darwin Awards are awards given to dumbasses for the dumb ways in which they meet their maker.

Based on Charles Darwin.

They are pretty funny, I have both books.

Based on Charles Darwin in that they are removing themselves from reproduction and therefore bettering the species (ie, theory of evolution).

That\'s why you MUST die.  Check the site, there are a lot of "runner ups" and "mentions" but they don\'t die, so they can\'t win.  The rocket car guy was 1998 or 1999.

(March 2001, Ghana) Tribal clashes are common in Northern Ghana, and people often resort to witchcraft with the hope of becoming invulnerable to weapons. For example, Aleobiga, 23, and fifteen fellow believers who purchased a "magical" potion to render them invincible to bullets.

After smearing the magical lotion over their bodies for two weeks, Aleobiga volunteered to test the spell. He stood in a clearing while his friends raised their weapons, aimed, fired...

You\'d think he would have tested the spell on a non-essential body part first. Aleobiga is now roaming the Great Savannah in the sky, and the jujuman who supplied the defective magic was beaten for his failure.

hey it says they will promote this to winner for 2001 if someone can confirm if it happend.

Bah, where were these people with the Darwen award knowledge in my thread?

http://www.psx2central.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=27694

That kid was mentally troubled and addicted, that man was just an idiot...
Who is this anamoly we call Jumpman? How is he able to do what he does and still survive after years of torment? It seems he feeds on the hate, growing with an intense passion to put unassuming members in their place.
