I\'ve primarily been hangin around the Madden Forums... Occasionally I\'ll stop by and check OT but there\'s usually not much going on.

You guys don\'t bitch at all about the forums when you spam away raping each other and throwing apples at everyone.

When we crack down you whine about the state of the forum and how it\'s gone downhill. Blah blah blah.

Make some freaking threads to reply to and the forum will be fine.

Sorry to see you go, but as long as it\'s not a permanent haietus, then it\'s all good.

As for the complaining thing, you can\'t always improve a forum by posting what you want to see, etc. Before the mods cracked down on the spam and bad messages, there was really nothing members like me could do BUT avoid the forum completely. Posting a great post in the middle of a lot of crap where nobody will read it isn\'t worth it.

Now that the forums have begun their improvement journey, I think we\'ll see more and more lurkers who were unhappy begin posting again.

I\'ve been disappearing for long periods of time ever since 2k+1. Its prolly cuz of these long absences that I can see the contrasts between the times. This place has definatley seen better times. Its prolly cuz the whole new generation hype has died down. That\'s where most of the discussion was back then. I guess everyone just got bored.
