How do you disable quicktime

i have windows media player real one and quicktime on my computer.   How do I make real one and windows media player my primary players?

uninstall quicktime, that\'s what I recently did.  Are you running xp?  if so you can right click on a media type in explorer and highlight what prog you want them to open in, and that makes it typical for all media of that type.

Clowd, the easy way is to right-click on the applications you want to use media player and designate that as you default operation. That way you can keep quicktime(best for movie trailers on its site). I have all three as well depending on the file each one has its strenghs for me. Try Win-dvd! Works great with mpegs.


 If you have a file you wish to use with quicktime Right-click and open with Quicktime(or any other player) that will not change your default player.:D
