mm, I don\'t mean any disrespect here, but....
lame, optimism, 6 month enrollment, your "I told you so"... bla bla bla
I have it, I play it everyday, I love it, end of story. Yeah, there\'s probably going to be people who won\'t like it, there\'s probably going to be people who hate it, and there\'s going to be people like me who actually like it.
Yeah, there\'s always two ways to look at things.. Look forward to it and be completely disappointed, or think not too highly of it and be surprised.
I mean, I have my doubts too as to how well it\'ll do here in the States and stuff, especially with so many other MMORPGs that are already out there, it\'s a tough crowd to compete against and stuff, but hey, who knows. It\'s doing good in Japan, and it\'s finally starting to make profits for Square.
And online games, I think it takes a long time for it to really sink into the gaming community anyways. Like look at CounterStrike and StarCraft. Those games have been out for ages, yet some people hadn\'t known about them or played them until recently. Same goes with EverQuest. It\'s ages old, yet some people only recently started playing it. I\'d give it more than 6 months... I\'d say.... if square does give up, and FFXI is taken out of the states, and the company goes bankrupt or something, then give me the "i told you so" statement, and I\'ll bow down and never argue against you
