At least 39 people have died in a huge nightclub blaze in the eastern US state of Rhode Island.More than 150 others were injured when the fire broke out during a pyrotechnics display at a rock concert, trapping victims inside.  



This is the second one this week. Such a tragedy.

I\'ve been watching the news since 3 am. and it\'s pretty damn sad. :(

I have to ask though, what moron would allow fireworks in a small club? They keep calling it pyrotechnics but from what I understand it was three of those sparkler cones (fountains) and they produce a lot of heat. They also said the back wall and ceiling near the stage was covered with eggcrate foam. I used to have that stuff in my studio and the non fire resistent (cheaper version) flares up instantly.
