Oh Shnap! I cant wait for this one. Thats Star Screen (scream, I forgot) in the third right? thats the only one im not sure of. Man I had like ALL the toys. Damn those are good memories

Well, I have managed to dig up some information from the ign boards posted by a guy from a TF fansite:

Okay guys. I come here as a representative of the 2005boards.com [a division of TF Fan site tfw2005.com] and I just thought i\'d set you all straight on whats going on with TFs and the PS2

There are two [2] confirmed Transformer games slated for PS2/multi-platform release

The first game takes place in the Transformers: Armada universe and is being developed by Infogrames. This is more than likely that 30 dollar game slated for June release. It is said to be an action/adventure game

the second game [and more anticipated by the fans] is titled "Transformers: Generation One" in japan. Right now its 70% complete, is an action/adventure game and takes place in the G1 universe. This is the game you\'ve been seeing screens all about. The game includes characters from the first two seasons, Transformers: The Movie, and possibly season 3

You\'re able to select one character [either Autobot or Decepticon] and choose two companions to accompany you. You are able to freely transform from robot and vehicle


This is about all the information that has been given. Check out AmericanDreamComics.com for galleries of ALL the screenshots released thus far on the G1 game and stay tuned for more info on the Armad game to be released in the near future

My bet is the graphics will rule, and the game will be a drop.

kick ass, but they should cancel the armada game and spend their money on something else.  Armada sux.

I hope this is a more RPG styled game, rather than a transformers shooter/10minlevel game.....  I can totally see stepping in as a low bot and working your way up through the ranks with missions (a la tie-figher, or the like)....

Seriously, Even knowing that this is a cut-scene the fact that it actually looks like the Megatron, Optimus Prime, and Storm Shadow(?) from the old cartoon is so so refreshing.

Oh damn . I\'m a little worried. I just saw some mag scans and while blurry they were looking pretty tacky. Not only that but it looked kinda like an arena fighter. One thing tho, is that i saw a hp meter. It might have been either game but if you have 2 companions then im confused as to why one was about to throw the other. Check it out at IGN its the same game as the one in the screens posted. gotta jet
