Here is the comp i will hopefully be getting soon http://www.emachines.com/products/products.html?prod=eMachines_T2460 some people say emachines isn\'t very good but my cousin has one and he said it\'s great, i will upgrade the video card to either a Geforce 3 or Radeon 9800 pro 128mb.

you are not serious are you.  Sure they are affordable, but that thing is going to give you more headaches that its worth.  Please consider Dell, and if you have the money, Alienware, or if you have the knowledge, build your own.

We sell emachines at work, everyone of the display models has been faulty at one time. I wouldn\'t recommend one of these at all.

I was looking at dells http://www.dell.com/us/en/dhs/offers/specials_3x_special61.htm it seems pretty good, maybe i will go for the dell instead.

I\'d definately go for the Dell if I was you.  My friend had an Emachine that only lasted about 8 months.  He came home one day to the smell of burnt electronics...and $600 bucks up in smoke.

8 months and his emachines crapped out? I have had my compaq for about 2 years and i thought compaq sucks (which it does), ok i am going with a dell.
