What in the F**K are they thinking? We have tried two CastleVania games in 3D and they both f**king sucked! And give me a break. This is an obvious DMC rip-off! I guess Konami decided originality was not important.

And what in the hell  happened to their promise that a 2D Castlevania game was coming to the PS2? Oh, I guess those went to hell, once they realized that they could make millions off of great 2D CastleVania games.

Ya\' know what, if it wasn\'t for the 2D CastleVania game (Aira of Sorrow) comin\' out, I\'d say f**k Konami and I hope they go under.

With that said....I will go induce vomiting at this point!

Is it Simon Belmont again the lead character in this one like the classics?

Three things I have to say:

The man behind the project is not the same man as behind the other 3D game.

Are all 3D games with a main character that uses a sword (this one has a whip as well, I think) DMC ripoffs?

Don\'t write it off just yet, you\'ve yet to play it. At least wait for some in depth previews or at least some better quality screens.

I hate this game. No matter how well it looks. I hate this game. I hate that they promised a 2D CastleVania for the PS2 and won\'t deliver. I hate that they lied to fans like that. I hate everything this game stands for.

Oh, I feel the same about Metriod Prime also..

I can\'t be a cynic about this.  With so many things I\'ve seen in the past year with Metroid going 3D, Link turning into a cartoon, and me actually having fun with a 3D Shinobi - I can\'t dismiss this as crap based on 2 crappy screens wrapped up in two crappy scans.

Like everything else at E3 though... we shall see.

I think my main problem with this is - for the past three or so years, Konami has kept promising and saying there was a 2D CastleVania in the vain of SOTN in development for the PS2 - yet it turns out they was lying and we got a 3D CastleVania. And I\'m sorry - I played the 3D CastleVania\'s, so call me skeptical, but they frickin\' sucked.

Yeah. Straight up!!! That aside. I do agree with you. No matter how hard they try, it will be hard to ever make a game with a sword and trenchcoat in 3D without somebody saying DMC rip. DMC is now legendary (to me and a few others at least) but who knows this game MIGHT be ok. I wouldnt mind if they did it similar to the new contra game . But seeing these screens obviouly knocks that out of the picture.
