Only see him once? One winged Angel? Hello!! Empty head? Well, I guess it depends on what theory you follow. I believe strongly in the theory that Sephiroth is the one controlling Jenova, and I´m guessing you´re a follower of the Jenova theory. This game is all theories, there are so many things we can´t know for sure. Until Squaresoft reveal the truth that is, if they ever do.

I guess it´s kind of like russian roulette. On one hand is super powers, on the other ending up as a moron in a wheelchair. Or maybe it´s how long Sephy was in it, he maybe got adjusted to it or something, while Cloud washed up on the shore near that town soon after falling in. Or maybe it´s got to do with mental strength or something, and Sephiroth was strong enough to get through the Lifestream without ****ing up like Cloud did.

Safer Sephiroth (One Winged Angel) is a fusion of Sephiroth and Jenova.  But the main power you are fighting against is Jenova.  Which is why the spell Super Nova is so drawn out and exaggerated.  Obviously, the sun didn\'t actually supernova, and destroy every planet (and itself), it was merely an illusion created by her.   And is also why, when he wasn\'t fused with Jenova, he was so easy to beat (he had no real \'super\'power - only Jenova did).
 
The song (Orchestrated version) is about her.  Which is why it uses the phrases "Gloriosa" and "Generosa" during the songs apex.  These phrases mean "Glorious" and "Generous" FEMALE (Latin).

Like I said, there´s a bunch of theories surrounding this game. You´re a follower of one theory, and I´m a follower of another. And that wasn´t a clone in the Temple, that much is known for certain (accepted and approved by the FF society, I believe j/k (but it\'s not a clone))

The final battle with Sephiroth (and this is a widely accepted explanation) is that Cloud is fighting him in his head to rid himself of Seph forever.

But, like I\'ve said before, there\'s a bunch of theories surrounding the game, and each theory has followers. Let\'s just stop this and stop annoying everyone who actually wants this thread to go forward (that\'s a good reason... that, and I\'m beginning to get tired of this ).

It wasn\'t a clone?  But I thought it was a fact that Sephiroth spent the entirety of the game in the Northern Crater?

Fights him in his head?  That seems like a really.... lame explaination .  Is there anything at all to back THIS up?

And if it\'s so widely accepted, why are you the first person I\'ve heard with this theory?

If you\'re going to dispute my claim, the least you can do is come up with actual evidence of it\'s truth.  Rather than just taking other peoples\' theory\'s, without ever really investigating them.  They just sound, phony.  

I mean, after the battle with Sephiroth, Holy came and immediately took him.  Are you saying that HOLY was inside Cloud\'s head, too?

Hey, I\'m just echoing what the FF community believes. I\'m not that much into examining the story and trying to find the truth behind it.
Another thing about FFVII (I\'ve said this before, I think): Nothing is certain when it comes to the story of the game. There are so many things that have to be guessed about and thus the game has spawned probably the greatest amount of theories a game ever has. There\'s no one truth.
Who is the Sephiroth you follow throughout the game? Is it just an image that the real Sephiroth, who\'s waiting in the Northern Crater, conjures to get you to follow him, or is it Jenova? This and a lot more will probably never be revealed and so all there is to do is examine the game, what\'s said by certain characters, what happens, to draw conclusions on the matter and make a theory.... sorry for me going on there about all that. It\'s hard for me to stop once I start.
