That is not a fact, just a theory based on the countdown image. And it could be set in Russia, but in the jungle as well. Remember MGS2? First the Tanker and then the cleaning plant. And no one could have faked a trailer like that.
The words that came with the countdown image: "Hungry for some Snake?" and the beginning of the trailer fit perfectly. No one could have made this trailer in such a short time after the revealing of the countdown.

Yeah I find it hard to believe that anyone could make such an elaborate fake in such a short period of time.

Why couldn\'t this be in Russia anyway?
I\'m pretty sure they got jungle-like forests in that huge country...
