I would agree with you about street racing mm as I hate the cars that todays generation uses. The only problem with street racing is that it isn\'t a fad. This generation uses civics, and other asian cars - while my generation used Mustang GT\'s and IROC\'s. The generation before me used Chevelles, GTO\'s, Cameros, Mustangs, etc...
It is almost a part of growing up... I remember racing a guy in an IROC in a commercial park back in 86 and his buddies made the finish line right before a 90 degree left hand turn. I didn\'t know this until I was about 50 yards away. Since my 86 Mustang SVO didn\'t have ABS I started to pump my breaks and barely skidded around the turn - meanwhile the IROC goes sliding past me - all four tires streaming smoke and hits a 10 inch curb. The car stalled as he had hit the breaks so hard. Needless to say no damage to my car, but the IROC was screwed - 2 flat tires, missing front spoiler, air leaking out of one of the back tires and god knows what kind of suspension damage.
Luckily no one was hurt except for the IROC.
