Can you get in trouble, if you know of crime, and didn\'t try to stop someone from committing it?  If you try to hide your knowledge, and someone finds out, is that considered lying?

Possibly obstruction of justice. In some crimes, the mear(sp?) fact that you know makes you an accessory if the prosecution really wants to gun for you.

I study rights, so I should at least know a little bit about this (at least of the dutch law :laughing: ) , anyway, as stated above it\'s illegal to do so, but if you really don\'t want to tell the truth, you should tell (when asked of course) that you have no recollection of that certain event :D

In Spain you would be also charged, you cannot allow another person kills nor hide that info.
