If there are multiple realitys and every decision made is acted out diffrently in another reaality (infinite realities) then it wouldnt matter if you killed your gradfather in one reality becasue you would nt inanother and you _amy_ not go back to the same reality.
I think anout this stuff sometimes and i always come to the conclusion that time travel would be hard and weird=]
