They may indead incorperate the said memory, but I believe that they will continue with there present course. And if they put that much memory inside it, it must be a very very fast system. Remember if it moves fast enough it dosn\'t need that much memory.
I agree which is why 256mb of ram will be used and not the GB or higher some people fantasize about
256mb of super fast memory will still allow top programmers to get sick results from the machine, while allowing lesser developers to still produce excellent results.
Streaming will always be the future, large storages are expensive and will someday prove to be bottlenecks in not so distant future endeavors. Sony obviously knows this and pushes on with it regardless of the popular opinion of the last generation.
Memory is cheap these days, and Sony would be foolish not to pack the machine with as much ram as the price structure can hold.
Early games will look feel, and play much better, and later games will benefit exponetially.
Sony also had to take a lot of bitchig from developers about the lack of ram, you can bet Sony will use at least 256mb IMO
