Being able to have your own face mapped into the game sounds like a very nice idea.

The premise of this game reminds me of thrasher: skate and destroy, which imho was a very great and innovative game. I didnt look that great but the trick animation, the realism, the music, the sponsors, and the fact that there were no pro skaters made it extremely fun. THPS:U looks kinda kool. Im kinda tiring of the whole tony hawk engine. After 3 i started to want more realistic skaters instead of button mashing-esque gameplay. I thought 4 was good especially with online but those kids that play are cheap bastards which makes the game boring as hell. I dont know much about this installment but i hope it reinvents what it created with the first few.

why?, when would you ever c it for more that a flash, there are other quite cool things in it like customiseable tricks and stuff =]

Yea, Thrasher was a good game. The reason it wasn\'t very popular was that it was too hard for the average gamer. You really had to put in hours just to get decent at it. And it didn\'t look as cool as THPS cause you weren\'t doing all these huge unrealstic moves and linking them all together

It\'s still cool. And people you play against online will see your face as well.
I can\'t wait for the customizable tricks, though I\'m not as excited about them as before (seemed to me in a video I saw you don\'t create the exact movement yourself, which is what I was hoping for)

The graphics are a definite improvement... I have to admit all the games that have been  coming out as of late are making huge leaps in graphic specificity.
