I dunno.  I just don\'t get the allure of Rushmore.  I thought it was absolutely awful.  I know people like it, but I just don\'t get it.

And how can this list not have Breakfast Club?  oye  This list is a joke.

I am unfortunetly a great fan of the Highschool movie.  I don\'t know why, but am.  And not having the Breakfast Club on this list is 1 big frick\'n joke, dumb bastards.  And what about the greatest of them all, Feris Buellers Day Off?

What about Van Wilder?

Thats one of the funniest movies I\'ve ever seen.
It\'s good to see Donnie Darko on that list

Q:  Which film portrays a High School most like your real High School?

To me, The Breakfast Club was from about the right time period, but it was way too different from my school.  Too midwestern; nothing like where I\'m from.

Fast Times was much much closer, but still not exactly right.  I always think of the film "Pump Up The Volume" as being a perfect version of my school.  It looks like it was shot in Peoria,  or Paradise Valley, Arizona.

By the way, they didn\'t mention \'Three O\'Clock High" or "Election," two classics of the genre.  :)

Van Wilder was a college film, not High School.  :)

That list is crap-o-riffic. I agree Vid, not only did I think Rushmore sucked, after I watched it, I felt dirty.

Best high school movie is Not Another Teen Movie. Har!

Cruel Intentions was good too...

EDIT: Does anyone remember Welcome to the Dollhouse? That was trippy.
