My mate took his one apart and put it back together again. Apparently it is quite easy to do.
That is what I did with mine, and yes it is easy to do, you just had to get a fork and stick in in the gaps, then prise them out. You had to be careful though, because there was a bit in the middle that held the centre squares together, and if you broke that, you were bolloxed.
Aparently, they are making a comeback, one of those 80\'s revival crazes that go round from time to time, a bit like yo-yo\'s.
I still had my rubix cube up until about 5 years ago, it got lost when we moved.
Just another thing, anyone remember any of the other rubix puzzles? Remember the rubix snake? it was a long line of triangular blocks, that could be rotated into any countless number of shapes, like a ball, or a cross, or......... nope, that\'s all I can remember doing.
Then there was a barrel shaped one, that had coloured shapes, that slid up and down, then you would rotate the barrel, and try to get all the colours on the same part.
Oh, the memories.
