Full game is great, especially the Russian campaigns. Storming Stalingrad almost tops Normandy in Allied Assault.
Amen. I\'ve been telling people that it DEFINITELY tops Normandy in Allied assault. Granted, the PC version of the Normandy assault is pretty damn intense, but Call Of Duty is by far the best war FPS I\'ve every played. Don\'t get the demo. Just buy the game.
I think one thing that makes this game so incredible is the fact that they really managed to create a sense of real size, depth and distance with every level, which makes it feel so much more real. I finished Call Of Duty and then played where I had left off on MOH Allied Assault and there was just no comparison. The A.I. in COD is better and the level designs are far superior. Storming Stalingrad and Red Square are excellent examples of getting that sense of being in a real battle.
Another unforgettable level is when you have to take over the apartment complex in the open snowy level and then defend it from soldiers and tanks. The A.I. are battling each other all around you and it really gives you a sense of urgency and danger, knowing that the enemy are all coming up from the ground floor to find you and kill you while you and your allies are trying to keep them out.
Anyway, great game. My only complaint that it was too short. But I don\'t know if that\'s because it\'s literally just too short, or if it\'s because I played it every night for a week for several hours each night and enjoyed it so much that it just FELT short when it was over. It definitely leaves you wanting more, but in a good way.
