i\'ve read dozens of fanboy threads and have seen benchmarks that say nvidia runs HL2 better and Ati runs Hl2 better

Does anybody here know about dcc workstation graphics cards performance on DX9 games like HL2 ? - for example ; Nvidia Quadro FX500 128 mb or the Ati Fire GL X1 128 mb. Come December i might by a new pc, primarily to work on Maya and
C4D stuff, but mostly these workstations come with dcc cards,
so i was kinda wondering how they compare to \'regular\' game
graphics cards ...

What\'s funny about this is everyone used to argue about consoles, now it\'s time to find something else to argue about.  Why not PC vid cards.
