Damn, SORRY
« on: September 22, 2003, 09:54:08 AM »
Sorry I posted the thread about dvd x-copy express. I didn\'t intend to promote piracy so give it a rest. I didn\'t even mention anything to this effect.  I haven\'t and don\'t intend to make copies of something I don\'t own. I just thought it was nice to have a copy to use at parties or at home and not have to worry about the original being damaged. Now I know not to mention a nice piece of software in this forum albeit the forum\'s title. :banghead:

Hell I didn\'t even think of backing up games until LIC mentioned it.
I don\'t think it would work anyway and have no intention of trying. So if discussing a piece of software in the software forum is a discussion of piracy, when I didn\'t mention anything other than backing up my own property, I guess some would think I am  guilty IMO, I am not.
Now let the children scream.

It wasn\'t your fault guar, you were just taking about a useful piece of software that you purchased.

Thanks people, It just gets to me sometimes that people assume that because you have something you are abusing it. Even if I did I\'m not stupid enough to mention it around here.

I have nothing against you, Guar.. I just wanted to make sure that the mods were being consistent.

Speaking of which....Canadians are happy as a bunny to accept the American greenback but Canadian money is utterly worthless in stores in the US.

And I have about $4 of Canadian money littering my jar of change.

Sorry to hijack. :p

Yeah, DVD Xcopy is quite right. :D

We wasn\'t arguing the fact that it can make legit copies of movies. It can indeed and that is fine. I was merely pointing out, that people like Gmanjoe have constantly talked about stealing movies, and that is against forum policy.
