ever notice that the other boards you frequent aren\'t quite as cool as this one?  It\'s like we\'re a big family, mm is the daddy who\'s been beaten down by the system and is the model pessimist because of it.  Vid is the friendly grandpa who loves to tell everyone about the "old" days, Vapor is the red headed step child, and I\'m the uncle who keeps "special secrets" with you.  Awww, give me a hug.

No, in all seriousness, a lot of you are really cool and I don\'t want this to come off as gay as what theomen said, but in a sense a lot of you have become friends here. If you ever need a place to crash in Vegas, then good luck with finding one. Cheers.

I actually began to make this topic as a serious one, and hell I guess I\'ll make it one.

This board is strange in the sence that I fell as though I actually "know" alot of you, most of the regualr poster anyways.  At other boards I\'ll talk with others and joke around but this place is more like I\'m typing to old friends....ah hell, I told myself I wouldn\'t cry...[stuie]damn you all[/]

Kinda disagree, as I think over 90 percent of the posters here are now idiots and worthless to the forums.

On the other hand - there is the other 10 percent that I\'ve known for years.

Did anyone expect anything less from LIC?  Nope, because we all know each other so well here.  

I like it here because there really isn\'t a common thread amongst us all other than a couple years ago we all bought PS2s. Now it\'s really just a place to catch up on things and to see what\'s up in the world.

I also like it because people are from all over the world.  And all different viewpoints.  
I mean where else do you find people who:
a) Still think we went to war with Saddam for oil.
b) Still think Noah had dinosaurs on the arc
c) and insist there are no jobs in Dallas, Texas.

As much as we all rag on each other, no one wants anyone to leave.  This place would suck if everyone were the same.  That\'s the exact reason I\'m not on other boards.
