Its really starting to suck. It does it at such random times. I checked for that MSBlast thing and it wasn\'t found. My CPU is not running hot. I can\'t figure it out. Any suggestions on what could be wrong?

by default it will shut down on critical error

There is no such word as virii. The plural for virus is VIRUSES.

You\'re all getting virus mixed up with cactus...which, amazingly enough, has two plural forms : cacti and cactuses.

heh. "virii" is a disputed term. some would say it\'s just as valid as "viruses" and there\'s no historical record that would disprove them. I do tend to lean on the side of "viruses" though.

I posted about the same thing about a month ago. My computer dosen\'t do it as often as it used to, but it still sucks to be in the middle of something and have it shut off randomly like it does.

Downloading gay porno will do that. Get rid of it and your PC will be stable.

To all XP people who might get this and need the time to download the antivirus.....

To stop the shut down:

1. click START - RUN
2. Enter "cmd" and press enter (might have to enter "command")
3. Enter "shutdown -a" and press enter.

This aborts the shutdown.

I assume you have got ad-aware to check for spyware etc?

If not then download it asap and get scanning!!!
