Honestly, I was browsing around some forums and they were talkin about how they don\'t want TO back in the Niners and should be cut out and no be re-signed.....

C\'mon people. Even if TO is the biggest asshole he has made up for alot of his shit on the field. Those people need to get their heads out their ass and look at him for what he does on the field not out.

this will probably be closed as we have an NFL thread

BUT, since I\'m a niner fan here we go

I personally would trade T.O, as he has a free agent year coming up and even if the niners can sign him, they\'ll be f*cked as they won\'t have the cash to sign Peterson, Streets or Rumph.  If they trade him to a playoff bound team they\'ll atleast get something in return instead of either loosing Owens, or loosing their defense and #2 WR.  T.O while being a great wr, is a disturbance in the locker room, lacks leadership and will never be the guy who \'leads\' a team to a superbowl.

Sorry Mystiq, as a Niner fan I\'m going to have to disagree... Owens is a beast on the field however I think he creates a lot of problems regarding team chemistry. Remember the Young - Rice days when everyone seemed to get along? That worked.

Owens has a philosophy that you don\'t have to get along with your teammates to win, however I disagree. I think everyone has to be on the same page, and lifting each other up, and dusting one another off. To me, Owens has just isolated himself from the team, and ruins that chemistry which is necessary.

You don\'t have to date one another, but you have to have some sort of mutual appreciation for the other as both a football player and teammate.

Owens has been so awesome for the Niners I can\'t even describe it, but I\'m tired of the tantrums on the sidelines, and the outbreaks after losses. I\'m especially tired of the, "I\'m doing all that I can, but my team is losing" mentality that really puts distance between him and the rest of the Niner squad.

If there\'s any guy I\'d keep it would be Garcia. He\'s been saying the right things every time Owens whines for the ball, and I respect him for that. Garcia may be struggling at the moment, but if he\'s a good team player then I\'m going to root for him for as long as he wears red and gold.

Furthermore, I really don\'t htink the Niners will hurt without Owens. They have plenty of young guys just waiting to break through the surface. I\'m talking about Brandon Lloyd, Arnaz Battle, and Tai Streets. Those three all have potential to be huge NFL stars, and will get their shot once everyone stops primarily focusing on tending to Terrell Owens\' needs.

Actually the problem was our crappy corner Tim Wansley couldn\'t get Harrison to run inside where he had help from the safeties.  He got burned on the sidelines.

It doesn\'t matter.  Bucs are toast.  This is just way too many injuries to come back from.

You can\'t have Alstott out for the season, Stecker and Barnes are out for next game at least, stecker probably longer.

Keyshawn, Karl WIlliams and Joe Jeravicious out for a while longer.

Brian Kelly gone..

Oye...

So now I have to root for my Gators to tank the rest of the games so they can fire Ron Zook and the Bucs to just hold in and make a wild card bid.

Come on Basketball season!!!

I actually feel bad for the bucs, it\'s one thing to loose because you suck, but to loose a possible playoff bid because of the injury bug is a real kick in the gonads.

I don\'t feel as much hatred toward the Bucs. Well, too bad I guess.

Um there are at least 11-12 games still to played in the NFL before I would start getting all happy about the panthers. By week 16 we will see where the panthers are at.

I mean I am no buccs fan. I just wouldn\'t down them out at only being 2-2. I mean the panthers got the colts, Titans and saints comming up they barely beat the saints last game.  And after that it\'s houstan(they should win) but then its buccs again. I think the colts are going to beat them this week.

And whomever that was that said the buccs will need a wild card. Doesn\'t no anything about football.

Even though I\'d kinda like to see the Panthers win (love  defensive teams who run the ball) I think the Colts will hand them a loss.

I said that, and I\'m sticking with my guns. Many other professional prognosticators have played the same hand, so don\'t go preachin off your high chair buddy, it\'s more than a rational statement.

Colts will probably take the Panthers down, cuz they just seem to be an offensive machine... However with the Bucs plagued by injuries at the moment, and their crap of an offense... I just like what the Panthers have in Stephen Davis.

I would have to agree about the wildcard with how injuries have been dealt lately.  If the injuries didn\'t happen though I think the bucs could still easily win their division.

The Colt\'s was f**ked on that goal line interception call.  It just went into OT  - and I\'m pulling for the Colt\'s. Payton is so cool and calm.

Panthers win!  Bow down to the mighty strong defensive, smash mouth running team!

On a bad note, KC just had a FG blocked, not a happy camper...

*edit, KC TD, me=happy Camper
Raiders loose, KC and Carolina win, if the niners win I\'ll sweep the weekend with wins for teams I like and losses for teams I dislike (excluding TB, bastards...)
