Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison

And the refs made the right call on that one.

That\'s true. It was a stupid call, but it was a legitimate rule broken.

Man the Bucs suck... I\'m sorry but you\'re defense isn\'t very top notch if you blow a lead like that, and then get owned in OT.

I was out watching The Rundown and got back in time to see it from the third quarter on.  Great game, best game of the year thus far.  I\'m tell\'n ya, even though my baseball team lost, this has been an amazing week in sports.

WIth Kelly out the secondary was toast.

This is from ESPN:
"Part of the problem for Tampa Bay was that, with Brian Kelly out of the game, defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin was forced to use undersized "nickel" defender Tim Wansley at cornerback in the "base" defense. Harrison absolutely abused Wansley, finally forcing the Bucs to move free safety Dwight Smith, a cornerback the first two years of his career, to the outside. In that alignment, Jermaine Phillips played free safety. It was a disheveled secondary at times, and the Colts went helter-skelter right through it."

As I said in the other thread, this defense just thinks they are the greatest and that they don\'t even have to try.  Give me a break.  They have a lot of pissed off people here in Tampa now with how they didn\'t finish that game.
What a joke..

Oh well, at least I\'m not rooting for a team like Frisco.

Also the penalties and the Referreing if that is even a freaking word was terrible I\'am not one to blame a win or lose on the referees because I belive bad calls are part of the game but last night was like watching the 80\'s Raiders play!!!

Dungy built up Tampa - there\'s no denying that and now he is doin\' the same to the Colts.

Oh and Tampa was a one-luck thing. I don\'t see it happening this year or anytime soon.

Oye...  Tony did not build Tampa.  THe pieces were in place before he even got here.  We just happened to get in new owners that wanted to win.  Dungy didn\'t bring in these defensive players.  THe core of Sapp, Lynch and Brooks were already here.  Granted Tony has a good defensive mind, but um, so does Monty Kiffen...

And Tampa was not a one-luck thing.  THey totally dismantled teams in the playoffs last year.

Don\'t forget, we lost Brian Kelly, Keyshawn Johnson, Aron Stecker and Michael Pittman in that game last night.  Plus Mike Alstott wasn\'t even going to play last night until minutes before the game...  So in crunch time we had virtually nothing.

Losing Brian Kelly was the worst of all.   I mean how are you suppose to cover Marvin Harrison with new true corner?

Awesome game...to bad I missed it when the score was 35 - 14. Who da thunk it would actually be a game with only less than 5 minutes!

Brian Kelly or no Brian Kelly...no secondary should be pounded on THAT hard...SO QUICKLY, in the NFL.  Especially the second best in the game (the Eagles still being the first, when healthy:))  So yeah...the Eagles.  Three of their secondary pro bowlers go down...three rookies go in, and against two great passing teams.  But you know what?  They won both games, even with their depleted d-line to get minimal pressure on the QB, they won.

So yeah, I don\'t think the loss of Kelly made a huge difference.  Tampa wasn\'t playing with any heart...or maybe you can just say another team\'s figured out the bucs defense.  (Saints, Colts...more to come)

I would go with Tampa played with no heart rather than another team figured us out.  They know everything there is to know about our defense and it certainly didn\'t help them the first 3 quarters.    The Bucs D learned a valuable lesson last night.  If you are going to be the best defense, you need to play that way for 60 minutes in the NFL.
