I remember in the last playoff series the 76ers were in Iverson refused to huddle with his team after a poor first quarter performance.   I would hate playing with somebody like that.  That\'s what made greats like Michael Jordan and Kurt Warner so great,  they never did anything immature or put any blame on their teamates.  Another reason why I cling to a Kurt Warner or MJ because athletes with great personalities are going extinct and the self absorbed haughty "who can make a play? I can!" type are taking over.

It just little things that I pick up on to tell a person\'s personality.  And Moss does look more mature this year,  I can see and almost sense it.

*sigh*

Putting Kurt Warner with Jordan is an insult to Jordan.

Warner had 3 good years.  That does not make him great.  And he wasn\'t.

And athletes with great personalities are very much out there.  They just don\'t make news.  Athletes with good personalities FAR outnumber ones with bad personalities.

I remember in week 2 after the Rams scored a touchdown, Warner ignored bulger on his way to the bench, while the rest of the team was congratulating him for a job well done.

Actually, I don\'t.  But I can SAY things happened and push them as facts.  God bless America!

Out of the unbeaten teams, who is a realistic playoff team, and who is just playing above their ability:

Indy Colts-  I think they have the second best offense in all the land, and their D is playing really well.  Dungy is in year 2 with that defense and it seems like that they have really taken to his scheme\'s.  Usually I\'d say that the defense is just a fluke and they\'ll play worse in the comming weeks, but last season they were the 8th best D and this imrovment is mostly because of the team becoming more comfortable with the design of the defense, so I have to think they\'ll be in the hunt for the division title at the very least.

KC Chiefs-  I thought they should have made the playoffs last year, they\'ve had the most exciting offense in the league for 2 years and have only gotten better.  Trent Green is hitting all of his recievers (Tony G would probably like more passes) the offense is being ran to perfection and they have the most dominant player in the league, in Holmes.  Their defense has been doing a much better job this season than it has in past, but I don\'t see it keeping up it\'s dominance all year long.  I picture this defense being a middle of the pack defense, which is still a great improvment over last year.  The thing that will seperate this team from other good offensive teams is the great special teams.  Dante Hall will do for KC what Desmond Howard did for Green Bay in their super bowl year.  With a defense that bends but doesn\'t break they should get some great field position and some td\'s thanks to their special teams, and when the KC offense has a short field to play with it means lots of TD\'s.  They\'ll fight Denver for the division, and will at least be a wild card team.

Carolina Panthers-  Can you say "\'84 bears reincarnated"?  Well probably not, but they do have a dominant, game altering defense with a strong, smash-mouth running game.  Stephen Davis has given this team a huge shot in the arm, allowing them to control the ball for long drives and rest their defense.  However, Jake Delhome just doesn\'t have the NFL level talent to keep up his current performance level throughout the season.  They\'ll finish with an over .500 record and may win their division by default thanks to underachieving Niners and Rams.

Mini Vikings-  Randy Moss, and Daunte Cullpepper= top tier offense.  But their D has been their achilies heel (seems like a common affliction), so far this season it\'s been holding it\'s own and even shown signs of dominance (read 49ers getting their ass kicked).  But I just don\'t see them keeping it up, I imagine that once again teams will dry hump Randy, and Daunte will be screwed without a good number 2 WR.  They\'ll still get a good amount of points, but will also give up their fair share.  Minnesota will be leap frogged by the Packers and will crumble in Raider fashion come playoff time.  Best case scenario is they make the wild card.

Denver Broncos-  Good strong running game, and a potentioly speratic passing game.  Jake Plummer is the catalyst, if he does what he done in the past 2 games they go to the playoffs, if he throws picks ala his Cardinal days, they lose.  Simple as that.

Seattle Seahawks-  too tired to talk about them, their a freak team.  They don\'t make the playoffs.  And then have oral sex with Vapor.

*and as always, since I typed it here, the football gods will do the exact opposite of what I said.

Cyrus, Did I say you were one of the bandwagon jumpers personally? No? Yeah, I didn\'t think so. Basically, I was referring to Di and Theomen, whom I know are Niners fans.

And if you do have a beef with the Huskers, I\'d honestly like to hear what it is -- Arizona teams have done quite well against the Huskers, be it the Wildcats or the Sun Devils.

See Yuz.

What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

There really does, so lets start off with a comment that Bozco will REALLY appreciate, especially hearing it from me.

Ohio State is absolutley overrated and will get smacked by Purdue and Michigan.

Thoughts? ;)

Um, they aren\'t in the same division as the niners and the rams so that might be pretty hard to do.

Vid;  You caught me, I\'ve been screwed up ever since they started the NFC south....damn bastard division.  So I now say that they\'ll be lucky to win a wildcard because of the Bucs in their division.

As for being on the KC bandwagon....yes, yes I am.
