With a dvd-rw, can you just keep recording over what was previously on it or do you have to reformat the disc each time?
I know this may seem like a simple question but I am still trying to get used to this dvd burner.  Thanks

you have to format it each time.

http://www.dvd-recordable.net is a good place if you own a dvd burner
