True, a lot of them are wimps.

But still, what do football players get paid to do?

a) tackle people
b) run to a destination with a ball
c) throw a ball

thats it....

OH WAIT! the kick it too!!!

They\'re both good sports, but I\'d take football over bball anyday.

but last year they would have lost by 30 instead of single digits and low double digits like they are this year.  IMO, they\'re playing much better with Lebron than they did without.

That was awesome to watch on Wendsday...he had an all-around great game for ANYONE, the fact it was his first regular season game made it all the much better.

Ricky Davis is decent.  Maybe if they see they aren\'t going to be blown out every game, they\'ll gain some confidence, and I wouldn\'t be at all surprised to see them in the playoffs.

1:  They\'re in the East.
2:  They\'ve got Lebron (main key if he continues playing this well)
3:  Let\'s not forget Silas, who could make a major difference in the teams attitude.

Season 1:  Eagles: 13-3, NFC East Champs
Season 2:  MIA
Season 3:  In talks with Arizona.

so true quddus.  I am surprised that some of the old school players don\'t push the NFL to allow them to have more fun.  It certainly is a lot more fun to watch when they play ball rather than the panzy crap they have to do now.  I mean it\'s an emotionless game now...

But this thread is suppose to be about NBA.  and NBA blows nuts.

Yeah keep your NFL shite out of this thread damn it.  You\'ve got your own sticky for that.  Back to NBA:

West > East
Suns > Cavaliers
Frankie Johnson > Paul Silas
Shawn Marion > Lebron James

Nuff said.  :)

I can\'t believe how everyone is talking up Lebron James.  He had 7 TURNOVERS last night.  That is horrific!  21 points doesn\'t mean shit when you have 7 turnovers, because your team WILL LOSE.

I\'m so sick of all this emphasis on individual hot dogging and dunking, and forgetting about the outcome of the game.  Someone should start a new thread when the Cavaliers actually win a game.

I think you\'re missing the important part of Lebrons play...he\'s 18!  Kobe was shit at 18, so was KG, T-Mac, and most everyother teenage nba player.

Yes, but think back over the years to all the rookies that everyone proclaimed as the next big thing.  More than a few of them turned out to be worthless.  I have more faith in the players that started from nowhere and built themselves into something by force of will.

I was the one that started the talk of Lebron here and it\'s nice to see he earned every second of it.
