Lebron...
« on: October 29, 2003, 08:36:48 PM »
I\'m watching the Kings game here, and damn this kid is for real!  I\'m always gonna be a Kings fan, but I\'m such a big fan of this kid I find myself rooting for him against my beloved Kings.

So far he\'s got 12 points 3 assists, 4 bounds and 3 steals in the 1st quarter!  Anyone remember how bad Kobe and KG were their first season?  Just think if Lebron\'s skills increase as much as Kobe and KG\'s did in their first 3 seasons.

BTW, I know it\'s just one game but still, he\'s very impressive.  It\'s especially impressive when you concider that he get\'s D\'ed up by Doug Christie half the time (1st team all NBA defensive team)

that\'s pretty sad.  they looked pretty "iffy" in their first game and now to loose to the Nugs, time for Popovich to straighten things out.

I forgot all about the game.  Meant to watch some of it.

You think I\'ll be able to catch another game with him in it?

Well, Tony was sitting out that night. He\'s beginning to have a big role on the Spurs. Also, spurs were just shotting 29% and had 20 turnovers. It will be different in a month

LeBron looked great!  The Cavs came close to beating the Kings, that right there should really say something.  And he had his 25 points on 60% shooting.  And he\'s 18!  If he keeps developing and improving, it\'s gonna be sick.

Once Lebron gets even better in a few years, they are gonna need to get a better supporting crew. I honestly did not know anyone else on that Cavs team.

Well, that\'s the thing.  They have cap space, cause there is no one else on that team, but no one wanted to go there before.  Something tells me that changes :)

I think if the Cavs pair up Lebron with one other semi dominating player, it will be a dynasty.  Get a good low post player, a top power forward or center, a guy who can take some pressure off the kid and it will be something special.  OR, when Kobe becomes a free agent and isn\'t in prison, hmm...

IMO, an NBA game is more fun to watch than a NFL game. Especially when it comes to going to them.

NBA is a bunch of wannabe street thugs who get paid millions to put a ball through a hole.

Big Friggen whoop.
